What is mental health?
We all have mental health like we all have physical health. Our mental health is about being able to function during everyday life and deal with life’s ups and downs. It affects the way we value ourselves and others, how we think about things, learn, and relate to other people.
Look after your mental health
It is a good idea to look after it as much as you can, just like you do with your physical health. Taking steps to look after your mental health on a regular basis will mean that you will be more able to cope with the ups and downs of life’s challenges.
Don't be afraid to ask for help
Remember, none of us are superhuman. We all sometimes get tired or overwhelmed by how we feel or when things go wrong. If things are getting too much for you and you feel you can’t cope, ask for help.
